Where to Buy MM2 Items Safely

Where to buy MM2 godlys and weapons without getting scammed: what a safe purchase looks like, the checks to make before you pay, and the red flags.

The short version

Buying a Murder Mystery 2 item with real money is four steps: choose the item, pay, tell the seller which Roblox account it belongs to, and accept an in-game trade. The checks below apply whether you buy from us, from another shop or from another player.

Where to buy MM2 godlys and weapons

Godlys, chromas, knives and guns change hands in three kinds of place, and each puts the risk somewhere different:

WhereHow it worksWhat to check
A shop with its own stockIt holds the item in its own Roblox account, and its bot trades it to you after you payThat the shop is honest and reachable: the checklist below
A player marketplaceMany players list items on one site, which usually handles the paymentThat seller's own record, and what the site does if an item never arrives
Another playerA swap in the trade window, or a payment and then a tradeThe window protects a swap, never money: the payment checks below matter most

We're the first kind: everything for sale on the market is stock our own bots already hold. For swaps, the MM2 Trading Guide covers the trade window and the scams around it.

How to tell if an MM2 shop is legit

These checks work on any shop, this one included, and you can make all of them before you pay:

CheckWhat good looks likeRed flag
What it asks forYour Roblox username, and nothing else about your accountYour password, a 2-Step code, or to log in to your account for you
DeliveryAn ordinary in-game trade, and you never trade firstTrading first, or a middleman you didn't choose
RefundsA policy that says when you get your money backNo policy, or one that never says when
Who runs itA named company, and a way to reach itNo name, and no way to reach anyone
ReviewsFrom before your order, spread over timeA burst posted all at once
PriceNot far below other listings for the same itemA price that only makes sense if the seller won't deliver
PaceTime to make these checksAn offer that expires in minutes, or a seller who needs you to hurry

Passing them doesn't prove a shop is honest, but failing one is a good reason to buy elsewhere.

1. Choose the item

Item names in MM2 repeat across variants. Luger, Red Luger, Green Luger, Ginger Luger, Lugercane and Chroma Luger are six separate items that share a silhouette, and Chroma Luger is worth more than the other five. Check the rarity and the artwork on the listing, not just the name in the title.

2. Pay, and check the checkout

What a real checkout looks like

  • The payment happens on a payment provider's form, and the page is on the site you started on.
  • You are asked for card or wallet details and nothing else: never a Roblox password, never a 2-Step code.
  • You get an order reference you can come back to.

Anyone who wants payment by gift card, or who asks you to send the money to a personal account first and trust them to deliver after, has removed every protection you have.

3. Give the right username

Roblox display names are not unique. Usernames are. Copy your username from your own profile rather than typing what you think it is, because a delivery to a one-letter-different account is a delivery to a stranger, and nobody can pull it back for you.

4. Accept the trade

Delivery is an ordinary in-game trade. You join the server the seller's bot is in, it sends you a trade with your items, and you accept it. Read the trade window before you press accept: the items in it are what you are getting, no matter what the listing said.

You should never have to hand something over first. If a "seller" wants your item in the trade window before they add theirs, or asks you to trade an item to a middleman to "verify" it, walk away. There is no verification step in MM2 trading.

What nobody can promise you

Buying and selling in-experience items for real money is against Roblox's Terms of Use, wherever you do it and whoever you do it with. The trade itself is a normal player trade, but moderation is Roblox's call alone and accounts can be actioned for it. A seller who tells you their method is approved, undetectable or risk-free is lying to you about the one thing that matters. Decide with that in front of you, and if you are under 18, decide with a parent.
