How to Get Godlies in MM2

Every way to get a Godly or a Chroma in MM2: box odds, event passes and gifts, Robux gamepasses, crafting a Seer, and when only trading is left.

How do you get a Godly in MM2?

Godly is the pink tier, between Legendary below and Ancient above, and the MM2 Wiki lists more than 120 Godlies. These are the ways to get one, and which are still open:

RouteWhat you getCost or mechanicStill available?
Shop boxThe box's Godly, or rarely its Chroma1,000 coins, 100 Diamonds or a Mystery KeyYes, all year
Event boxThe event's own GodlyEvent currency or a keyWhile its event runs
Event passThe last tier's Godly, in recent passesEvent currency, collected in rounds or bought with RobuxWhile its event runs
Christmas gift exchangeThat year's GodlyGiving 100 GiftsEach Christmas
Gamepass or bundleThe event's headline knife and gunRobuxWhile its event runs
CraftingThe Seer20 Legendary shardsYes
TradingAny Godly that can be tradedA trade with another playerYes
Item packs and merchOlder Godlies, such as the Eternal knivesShop packs, and codes that came with merchNo

Don't count on a code. The wiki's codes page lists no working codes, and the past codes it records gave out only Common and Uncommon knives and a single pet.

Which MM2 boxes have Godlies?

Eleven boxes stay in the shop all year, and each holds one Godly and its Chroma, except Mystery Box 2, which holds two of each:

BoxGodly
Knife Box 1Deathshard
Knife Box 2Fang
Knife Box 3Saw
Knife Box 4Slasher
Knife Box 5Tides
Rainbow BoxHeat
Gun Box 1Luger
Gun Box 2Shark
Gun Box 3Laser
Mystery Box 1Gemstone
Mystery Box 2Lightbringer and Darkbringer

The wiki puts each box's Godly at 0.2%, one open in 500, and its Chroma at 0.004%, one in 25,000. In a box with one Godly, that averages 500 opens per Godly: 500,000 coins, or 12,500 rounds with a full 40-coin bag. Since a September 2026 update, each box shows the chance of every item in it before you open it.

Coins are the free currency, picked up around the map during rounds; private servers, trading servers included, don't spawn them. Diamonds are bought with Robux, and Mystery Keys with Diamonds. If you're opening boxes for crafting material, choose the Knife, Gun and Rainbow Boxes: the two Mystery Boxes hold Season 1 weapons, and those can't be salvaged.

Events add a box of their own: the 2025 Halloween Box held Alienbeam and the 2025 Christmas Box held Snow Dagger. When an event ends its box leaves the shop, and from then on its Godly can only be traded for.

How do MM2 event passes work?

Recent Halloween and Christmas events, and the 2025 Summer event, have each had a tiered pass. You collect the event currency during rounds, candies at Halloween and Snow Tokens at Christmas, and spend it tier by tier; the currency can also be bought with Robux. The final reward costs more than all the tiers before it combined: the 2025 Halloween pass ended with the Godly gun Raygun at 90,000 candies, the 2025 Christmas pass with Snowcannon at 100,000 Snow Tokens.

From 2019 to 2024 the last tier was usually an Ancient, starting with Elderwood Scythe at Halloween 2019, and the wiki notes that the 2025 Christmas pass was the third in a row to end in a Godly instead. Halloween 2022 split players into two teams for good: the zombies' track ended in the knife Bat, the survivors' in the gun Makeshift. We list the MM2 Halloween items we sell on a page of their own.

Since Summer 2025, buying that final Godly has come with a small chance of getting its Chroma instead. The wiki gives Chroma Sunset a 2% chance and Chroma Raygun about 1 in 50.

The Christmas gift exchange

  • Every Christmas event since 2019 has had a gifting center. You buy Gifts with Snow Tokens and give them to other players (you can't open your own, and Gifts can't be traded), and each one holds a random weapon from the shop's boxes. Giving 100 earns that year's Godly, from Lugercane in 2019 to Ornament in 2025. In 2024 and 2025, each Godly earned this way had about a 1-in-50 chance of being its Chroma. The MM2 Christmas items we sell have a page of their own too.

Can you buy a Godly with Robux?

During most events, yes. The headline Godlies are sold as gamepasses, usually a knife and a gun that can be bought one at a time or together in a bundle with an exclusive effect; the 2025 Halloween bundle held Xenoknife and Xenoshot. Since the 2025 Christmas bundle, these purchases have also carried a chance of the Chroma versions. Gamepasses go off sale when their event ends, and the weapons become trade-only.

Evo knives are the exception. Reaver, Icecrusher, Gingerscythe and Synthwave were gamepasses for knives that start Rare and evolve as you earn XP with them equipped, reaching Godly at 216,000 XP and Ancient at 864,000. Evos can never be traded, so an Evo's Godly stage is one you can use but not swap.

How do you craft a Seer in MM2?

The Seer is the one Godly you can make from scratch, at the crafting station in your inventory. Salvaging a weapon there destroys it for good and pays out shards of its tier: two for each Common, Uncommon, Rare or Legendary. Twenty Legendary shards, so ten salvaged Legendaries, craft a Seer. It is also the unit MM2Values prices its list in.

Legendaries drop from the shop boxes 5% of the time, so ten of them take 200 opens on average; 12 Rare shards also craft one. Not everything can be salvaged: code knives, Ancients, event weapons, Vintages, exclusives and Season 1 weapons are all refused.

Painted Seers and the Chroma Seer

  • The station's last recipe takes 10 Godly shards and 10 Godly metal and returns a random painted Seer: Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Purple or, with the slimmest chance of the six, the Chroma Seer. Godly metal only comes from salvaging Seers, one each, so every attempt costs at least ten Seers plus the Godlies you salvage for shards. How many shards a Godly returns depends on which one it is.

How do you get a Chroma in MM2?

A Chroma is a colour-shifting version of a particular Godly, and it comes from the same place as that Godly at far longer odds: Gun Box 1 drops both Luger and Chroma Luger. The shop boxes gained their Chromas in the Season 1 update of May 2019; the first two, Chroma Boneblade and Chroma Gingerblade, came out of event boxes in late 2018. Every route that can give one, with the wiki's odds where it gives them:

RouteChance of the Chroma
Shop box0.004%, one open in 25,000
Event boxNot given for most; 0.004% in the 2026 Summer Box
Event pass final tier, since Summer 2025About 1 in 50 per purchase in Summer and Halloween 2025
Christmas gift exchange, since 2023About 1 in 50 per 100 Gifts given in 2024 and 2025
Event gamepass or bundle, since Christmas 2025A chance the wiki doesn't put a number on

Crafting makes one Chroma, the Chroma Seer, and trading is the only source of every Chroma whose event is over. Not every Godly has a Chroma, and Chromas can't be salvaged. The Chroma list shows them together.

When is trading the only way?

Whenever the source has closed, which for most Godlies it has: event boxes, passes and gamepasses all end with their event, and from then on the wiki lists trading as the only way to get their Godlies. The MM2 trading guide covers how a trade works and the scams around it, and our list of MM2 Godlys shows the ones we sell.

Buying one for real money is the other route people take. It breaks Roblox's Terms of Use, and here is what that means for your account.
